Not only do I have a passion for creating recipes for kids but there is also a desire to help people realize that eating healthier doesn’t have to be boring or uncreative. It’s why I have a voice over here at Fork & Beans. It wasn’t until I entered my late twenties that I had the notion as to what eating clean and treating my body with good-for-you foods meant. I would go to the grocery store (with my pockets full of quarters that I stole from my dad’s collection of change, sorry dad!) and buy myself a bag of chips, a candy bar, and soda as an after school snack. Now, I myself don’t have kids (I’m working on it!), but I was once a kid and I know what they are continuously fighting to eat. We all know that making your kiddos eat healthy can be difficult, especially when you are constantly fighting against sugary, processed treats in the market. Pssst, hey moms and dads! Are you looking for more heathy kid snack ideas? Listen up parents, this post is especially for you.
